Performance ATHLETE Training Program

Whether you are an aspiring athlete, a weekend warrior, or an professional athlete wanting to improve competitively, we will help you achieve your performance goals! A one year program consists of (1) Introductory four-week block and (6) eight-week training blocks.

Introductory Four-Week Block

  • Performance LIfestyle Review - Assess and define your goals
  • Physical Competency and Physical Capacity Assessment - How well you move and how much you can move
  • Program Development - Design a training program to achieve performance goals
  • Program Implementation
    • One initial coaching session, ongoing coach-lead group sessions, and independent workouts
    • PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS - Access to unlimited performance training workshops
    • Online access to training program
    • Client/Coach Assessment
      • Four-week program check-up
      • Direction for ongoing program

Eight-Week Training Block

  • Program Implementation
    • One initial coaching session, ongoing coach-lead group sessions, and independent workouts
    • Client/Coach Weekly monitoring and testing
    • PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS - Access to unlimited performance training workshops
    • Online access to training program
    • Client/Coach Assessment
      • Eight-week program check-up

Elite Athlete Training Program

The Elite Athlete Membership is for you if you have sport performance goals or want to try an alternative way for your training and coaching. The only program of its kind, you will have access to programs, coaching and supervision that gives to access to what you need, when you need it with the best coaches.

Features:

  • Performance Consultation
  • Assessment of physical movement competency and athletic motor skills
  • Assessment of physical capacity based on and including endurance, power/ strength, and speed goals.
  • Assess nutrition needs and nutrition coaching
  • Assess restoration needs and access to recovery modalities
  • Fully customized goal focused training plan in 4-weekly phases
  • Program Coaching On-site - a monthly 1-1 private session
  • Includes 3 additional 1-1 sessions per month with your coach, therapist or nutrtionist
  • Weekly Program Reviews and on-going re-assessment
  • Performance Training Workshops and Classes
  • On-line community for Education
  • On-line access to training program and off-site communications with Performance Coach via
  • Special Member rates for additional Registered dietitian, Physical Therapy, Performance Therapy and Performance Lab Analysis.

The Elite (Executive) Athlete memberships offer the only program which combines and integrates all corners of our Train Well - Eat Well - Restore Well pyramid. With our proven approach to developing movement, coordination and conditioning in elite athletes, combining the expertise of our performance coaches and therapists, with nutrition and restoration coaching, this program is the reserve of only the best athletes. If you really want to achieve your best and find your excellence this program is for you. Whether for 3 -months as you target an event or for longer term, you will be getting access to the optimal individual service both when you are on-site in Tahoe, and if you are off-site for any periods of time. Our on-line coaching program means your coach is only ever 1 - click away

Tahoe Fit Monthly Membership 

Tahoe Fit by Barton Health integrates a variety of workouts designed for all fitness levels. Find your fit with South Lake Tahoe's most comprehensive selection of workout classes in one program!

Tahoe Fit offers over 20+ classes a week with a variety of workouts including cardio, indoor cycling, Pilates, Barre, yoga, kickboxing, strength, functional movement, core conditioning, walking, running, and hiking. In addition we have unique quarterly classes designed to take advantage of the season and Lake Tahoe surroundings like winter sports conditioning, stand up paddle boarding, marathon training, sprint triathlon training, and guided mountain biking!

Performance Tracker Program

 

The outdoors is your training, or you have a membership or coach elsewhere, then the Performance Tracker is for you. Access our alternative training assessments and methods to help you realign or prevent stagnation in your training and ensure you are training in the best way to mitigate risk of injury.

  • Performance Assessment to include movement competency and physical capacity measures in power, strength, endurance and anthropometrics (90 min)
  • 12 week review / re-assesment or sooner depending on training goal (60 min)
  • An Individual Performance Program consultation with practical coaching (60 min)
  • Option to upgrade to performance lab analysis at member rates
  • Option to purchase Nutrition Coaching at member rates
